NYO Jazz Performs Neal Hefti’s “Cute”

NYO Jazz performs Neal Hefti’s “Cute” with bandleader and trumpeter Sean Jones.

The extraordinary young musicians of Carnegie Hall’s NYO Jazz represent the future of America’s jazz traditions. After being unable to gather in the summer of 2020, NYO Jazz convened this July at Purchase College outside New York City. Their three weeks of training and music making culminated in a live streamed event.
